It's Great to be Me was our concept. We learned about behaviour that is above and below the line. We also learned about Rights, Responsibilities and our Reputations. See our Student Tab for our presentations about what we learned.
Woohoo! Our class won the school wide Pita Pit competition. Thanks to Phil from Pita Pit who generously gave us these packs. They contained a water bottle and a Pita Pit voucher. 02/11/18

Keeping Ourselves Safe inDisasters

Ciao Oscar
Oscar and his family return to NZ every year from Italy. It was a pleasure having him in our class for a term. We look forward to Oscar returning next year.
Duffy Assembly- Meeting Jamie Hall 20.09.18
We were lucky to meet Jamie who is a sports writer and presenter. He showed us photos of some of the events he attends. He is at all of the All Black games and Warriors games.He is excited to be going to Japan to present during the Rugby World Cup in 2019. He also came to our class and signed our Duffy Books.
Te wiki o te reo Maori 10 .09.18
To celebrate Maori Language Week we visited the museum and we learned about the history of hei tiki(tiki worn around the neck.We looked at various artwork showing how the tiki is represented in many ways today. We also made our own tiki.Check out our Student Blogs for the photos of the tiki they made.
Kaboom Percussion Performance
On the 30th of August we were entertained by a duo from Western Australia who performed percussion items using cups, body parts, chairs and drums. We created our own routines using cups and or our body parts. Enjoy our videos. (Some are still in the production phase and will be added soon)!
